Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral – you can attend as a private patient or use a Mental Health Care Plan arranged through your GP.
You can choose to see your child's therapist privately.
Can I use my Mental Health Treatment Plan?
Yes, when you attend your local GP, your child's doctor will provide them with a Mental Health Treatment Plan which will allow for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Are sessions on zoom?
Yes, sessions are by Zoom for children and families.
Can I join in on sessions with my child?
We do ask that parents are present for a portion of your child’s appointment, your psychologist will generally spend 25 minutes with your child and then 25 minutes with the parent(s).
