Refund Policy
Our goal is to provide fair and transparent fee practices. Please review the following policy regarding refunds for telehealth and phone-based psychology services.
Payment for Services
Fees are payable prior to, or on the day of, your scheduled appointment. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received. Medicare and private health rebates (where applicable) are processed after payment.
Initial Assessment Fee: $310 (1 Hour)
All Subsequent Session(s) Fee: $240 (50-minutes)
Cancellations & Non-Attendance
To ensure appointment availability for all clients, a 100% cancellation fee applies if:

Less than 48 hours notice is provided, or
-
You do not attend the appointment.
In these cases, refunds will not be issued.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to accommodate other clients. Full fees apply, and refunds are not issued for lost time.
Technical Issues
If a session is disrupted due to clinician-side technical failure, we will:

Attempt to reschedule,
If the disruption is client-side (internet, device, environment), refunds are not guaranteed.
Services Not Suitable for Refund
Fees for the following are non-refundable once the work has commenced:

Reports or letters
-
Assessments
-
Forms and documentation
-
Extended administrative requests
Complaints & Review
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will review the matter promptly and fairly.
Clinical Outcomes
Psychological outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Fees are for clinical time and expertise, not specific results. Refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with therapeutic progress.
Pre-Paid Sessions
Pre-paid sessions may be refunded if:

Cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice, and
-
No report writing or case work has begun.
Medicare & Private Health
Refunds relating to Medicare or private health rebates follow the policies of those providers. We cannot refund rebate-only differences.
Right to Refuse Refunds
We reserve the right to refuse refunds when:

Policies have not been adhered to,
-
There is repeated cancellation or non-attendance,
-
Service misuse is suspected.
